Privacy Policy
At Steve Kemp Snow Removal, protecting your personal information is a priority. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
1. Information we collect
As part of our services, we collect only the information we need: your name, civic address (for snow removal), phone number and email address. For a job application we also collect your résumé and your availability date. This information is collected with your explicit consent through our online forms or over the phone.
2. Use and purpose
Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To evaluate and provide an accurate quote for your property.
- To send you operational alerts (e.g. tractor arrival).
- To handle billing and meet our accounting and legal obligations.
- To process your application if you apply for a job with us.
3. Security, processors and retention
We apply technological and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access. Our online forms are delivered by the Web3Forms service and our site is hosted by Cloudflare; these providers may process your information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Your information is kept for 24 months after your contract ends (or 12 months for an unsuccessful application), after which it is securely destroyed.
4. Privacy Officer
In accordance with Law 25, the person responsible for the protection of personal information within the company is Mr. Steve Kemp, owner. You have the right to access, correct, de-index and withdraw your consent at any time. We respond to any request within a maximum of 30 days.
